Karwa chauth

Karwa chauth

Karwa Chauth is a Hindu festival celebrated mainly by married women in North India. It typically falls on the fourth day after the full moon in the Hindu month of Kartika (October/November). On this day, married women observe a fast (vrat) from sunrise to moonrise, during which they do not eat or drink anything. The fast is observed for the well-being, prosperity, and longevity of their husbands.
